The other day we were in a car accident. Got rear ended. Felt so good to be mad. Admits we yelled at buddy. Told him not to worry about it. Drives cheep car. But the bumper was cracked. Probably cost at least $1000. Buddy wouldn’t pay for it his insurance does. Then insurance rates goes up for every one me included. All because we wanted a nice bumper on our car that is barley worth a thousand bucks. Nope we didn’t seek reparation that time.

to each their own.
some wouldn't care about set situation you described, others would be outraged. if you got the outcome you wanted, more power to you. if not, that's one of life's little misfortunes of what we all go through.

huh?
reparations for what? and who is "we"?

I'd be bothered enough to seek reparations if someone hit my car, or broke my tv or something.
