Let me guess a bunch of left wing liberals who are trying to destroy America right? Give it a rest the people who give out these prizes are smarter than you and I. But guess what he won't run for president, so we can pick between football players and actors and not Nobel prize winners. Sweet.

"Angry jealous child?"
Haha. Look at our candidates! We have on the Republican side a guy who was in "Days of Thunder" and on the Democratic side the wife of a president is leading over the college professor.
Angry? Hell yes! Our deficit has never been this big. The Canadian dollar is worth more than the U.S. dollar. We're getting lead around on a leash when it comes to energy. But its all excused because we "must defend freedom".
Jealous? Yes, of countries who elect leaders that promote peace and tolerance between countries and don't throw out treaties that promote environmental awareness.
Child? If only it were true.

I'm still mad at him for letting Bush hijack the presidency in 2000.
Stopping Bush would have really earned him that award.

Gore is a great human being. His book "assault on reason" is excellent. He is a light in a dark world where America has become more interested in manufacturing spin than persuading with well reasoned logic. Only in America can you have a serious "debate" still going about whether man-made global warming and evolution are real, despite vast scientific consenus. It really is an embarrassment.

Hmm....i ask your self what replaced his techniques? [ at the same time as in many situations seen a climate skeptic, John R. Christy turned right into a co-drafter of the yankee Geophysical Union's December 2003 position reality on climate replace, which concludes that: "Human events are steadily more desirable replacing Earth's climate, and that organic impacts on my own can't clarify the quick advance in floor temperatures talked about in the course of the 2d 1/2 of the 20 th century." ] those fossil gasoline childrens, i think.

Note that Gore shares the Nobel with the IPCC. Together they deserve it, the IPCC for proving that global warming is real, and Gore for making that known to the world.
Great website for unbiased scientific information on global warming:

Yeah, that makes him a better person. Considering the Nobel prize is a "peace" award, I fail to see what Al Gore was even considered for.

Same thing as before - that he's an evironmental nut case who wouldn't make a good president. Hmm I'm not sure they're smarter just more schooled - which doesn't equal intelligence

As long he has a big mansion and cars and jets (spending so much oil) than he's still a hypocrite to me.

Just goes to show you even smart people make mistakes. The nobel prize is a joke and from now on will always be a sham.
