I hope so. They have a good enough team and they have a hot streak going. They just beat Brandon Webb, so they are in pretty good shape so far. However, the Red Sox and Indians are both pretty tough.
It would be astounding if they do. They were down by two runs against the best closer in the long history of baseball in the game that determined the NL wild card winner. They ended up winning. They were playing a Phillies team that had just beaten out one of the best teams in the NL (the Mets) for the division title. They won.
How could they not win it after all they have done...???

That would be awesome! I have lived in Colorado my whole life and have gone to countless Rockies games. I am thrilled to death they are actually winning and they have a shot at winning the world series. Even if they just get there, it would be a major thrill since they have sucked for so long. I am not one to argue with fate and destiny, rather I will sit back and just hope that they DO win it all. Go Rockies.

I like Colorado and applaud the way they have done it..but I think it will end here. They had the amazing regular season run, took the playoff game, jumped immeadiately into the NLDS, and into the NLCS. I think the long layoff will hurt them, they will get a bit rusty, and the rotation will get shot to pieces by the layoff...where the ALCS will probably go 6 or 7 and the AL team will be in game mode by the time the Series starts

For sure.That late season streak is just a huge motivator.Now they romp the Phils, and yesterday game was not classic Rockies ball as they hit singles only.Their fielding and pitching save them,showing now the are more versitile than ever Rockies in world series.

I think so. The are hot and the wins just keep coming in. I think it is awesome. The Rockies have a lot of talent and each member of the team is doing what he needs to do to get the win.

i'd like them or the indians to go all the way and win it all, its the underdoggz who need to win, im sick of the its EITHER THE YANKEES OR THE RED SOX crap.
IF the rockies win, im officially dumping all my blue jays stuff and gong out and buying a Holliday jersey, and a rockies hat, if i can find them in toronto.

Yes - they are just too hot - I think they've won 16 of 17 - that is just unprecedented to have that kind of streak during a heated pennent race and into the playoffs. Wouldn't be that amazing if it were early in the season, but at this time of year, when their opponents are giving 100%, pulling out all the stops ? Unheard of !

I don't really know. Were the St. Louis Cardinals destined to win it all last year? No, but they won anyways.
