As a teen Librarian, I know how immensely popular Stephanie Meyer is! How she read the Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books? Rhodes is a teen who began writing and publishing her novels at like 15! Great stuff!
And for a mystery with a twist ... The Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Sheperd is also a very popular series among teens who like Meyer.
Anything by Gail Giles is sure to please!

If she's into vampires and prefers to read adult books, then I recommend Lynsay Sand's 'Argeneau family series' They are very funny with a lot of action.
I'd also recommend - Maryjanice Davidson 'Undead' series.
Janet Chapman writes a time travel series and also her romantic series are excellent.
other favs are:
Christine Feehan's 'Dark' series 1st book - Dark Prince
Judith Tarr's - Lord of the Two Lands
Lori Handleland's 'Night creatures' series - all the titles have the word moon in them.
Nina Bangs books are fun, but can be a bit on the mature side.
Minda Webber's books are silly but fun.
Angela Knight writes an excellent book but again on the mature side.
Even though she didn't like Harry, she might like the 'Young wizard' series by Diane Duane.

ok i like twilight too but i also love harry potter....so here are some of what i've read...some are a little old for you're age but still worth the read
