My son -14 yrs. old-has weapons. Not for killing peolple so calm down. Here it is a right of manhood. He is educated in the SAFE operation and ettiquit of gun safety. We hunt big game -whittailed/mule deer migratory game fowl- together. My question is. . .What the hellis wrong with the yankee kids who need guns? Do they hunt game? Do they know what game is? Do they know that they can be hunted? by the Police?

It would appear that most of his collection is made up of BB guns- while they do shoot a projectile, the effect is small.
His problem is in acting out his fantasy of ''Rightful Avenger''
in a school...everybody wants to be Superduperman.
He needs therapy.

I kept wondering when I heard this story in the news "OK, so what was illegal?"
I think the fact he tried to hire an accomplice to shoot up the school who ratted on him was the illegal thing.
Maybe his Mom did some shady gun show deal, too.
But owning lots of guns? So?
