That is great, one day I pulled into a self serve service station, paid for my gas but discovered I didn't need all the gas I paid for and didn't have time to go get a refund, there was a black man sitting in his car behind me and I asked him if he could use $ 10 worth of extra gas. He said he had just put his last $3 dollars worth of gas and was praying that he would have enough gas to get to work. He thanked me over and over and was praising God. Now I had never used that particular station before or since, never made a mistake like that before or since. Do you think his prayer was answered?

Yes, God IS good. He not only sent the help she needed, he gave the guy an opportunity to prove he was reformed.

Loved it!

A survivor, of hurricane Katrina, took one look at me & stated, while he was standing in water up to his hips and I was in the rescue boat: "I ain't grabbin' no hand from the likes of you."
My hair was only 1 inch long at the time & easier to get bugs & crap off of. I knew who he thought I was.
I promptly told him: Either grab my hand & get in this da** boat or I'll let your friends, behind you, have fun with your a**.
He looked around & got in the boat.
Never! And I mean never, turn down a helping hand when gators are afloat.
True story!!!

Great story. I ask the Lord everyday not to let me miss a blessing. My eyes easily get fogged by my thinking.

Oh yes, I agree. We shouldn't question when we are sent blessings, we should just thank the Lord and take advantage of them.

Uh, while it's a nice story and all, is there any proof that it happened? It sounds like it was made up to illustrate the point but does nothing to actually prove the point - there is a difference.
