I received this tree as a gift about seven years ago. It has gotten too big for the house. Is it okay to plant it? Should I do it now (early Oct. in NC) while the weather is mild? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry, but there is no way of knowing without a full description of the tree. A picture would be even better and most helpful. Some trees that are given as gifts are meant to be indoor trees because they are tropical. It could be anything, a Money tree, a Ficus, a Palm, a citrus tree, and the list just goes on.

Any way to see a pic? Does it have leaves or needles? Have you seen one like it growing outside? RScott
