No kidding. What the hell does spouting off about global warming (while being responsible for more carbon emissions than any 50 normal people) have to do with peace? What a crock of crap!

I personally think that the Nobel peace prize is a joke now, it has lost any credibility it may have ever possessed as far as I am concerned.

Unbelievable. What's next, granting him the Simon Wiesenthal award for humanity?

Absolutely.

What I find confusing is what Gore did anywhere in the world in the name of peace. All he did was further his fantastical religion. If furthering your religion is now the standard for a Nobel Peace Prize, perhaps that group out in Utah that killed themselves so that they'd be transported to the Mother Ship should be awarded one posthumously. Now THAT was commitment.
