The title of the song is "I love rock and roll". It was recorded by many singers such as Britney Spears, Kid Rock, A New Found Glory, Ghoti Hook, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Arrows....
It is said that Joan Jett wrote the song. Unfortunately it's not correct. Joan Jett had a big success with this song (7 weeks No.1 in the US), but she has not written the song. The Arrows, a British Rockband out of the 70s, already published "I Love Rock n Roll" in 1975 - but only as B-Side of a Single. Nevertheless, both versions don't differ very much in the music. Joan Jett just changed the lyrics, so that the text fits better to her female voice. So it is quite amazing that The Arrows didn't have more success with this great song.

This version was first released as a B-side, but was soon flipped to A-side status on a subsequent pressing of the record. Although not a chart hit in its original version as a result of non-existent promotion by the band's label, the song has come to worldwide prominence due to very successful cover versions that have been recorded. "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" is on the list of top 100 songs of the twentieth century, according to The National Endowment for the Arts. The song was ranked at number 484 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs.
