The ice caps on Mars are melting too. Is that man made also? See link: http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/mgs/msss/camera/images/CO2_Science_rel/index.html

Man made global warming is very speculative and definitely not proven.

James L: Well said! BRAVO! I am a die hard capitalist and I want to protect our environment at the same time. Man made global warming is a myth, but we should try to break our dependence on oil for environmental and economic reasons.

Ok folks. Listen up. This debate can be divided into 3 sides.

1) There is no global warming at all.
2) Yes, there is global warming and humanity is at fault.
3) Yes, there is global warming and its being caused by the sun going through a cycle and hence the name should be solar warming, because other planets like Mars are feeling the effects.

I'm a scientist specializing in heat and thermodynamics. The "proofs" that have been presented about global warming by Al Gore and others simply do not match up with scientific facts. I do not oppose reduction of pollution, energy independence, reforestation, or any of the othe things that would be used to combat the myth of global warming. They will surely have benificial effects for the planet. But they are not going to reverse the natural course of climate change. And it would be foolish to cripple our economy implementing these policies in an unwise and impractical manner. Al Gore deserve no credit for spreading his lies. He twists his raw data to claim it as proof of a theory that is really no more than a correllation. As any scientist will tell you, correllation is not proof of causation.

Of course a Nobel Peace prize means something. Since the 19th century, Alfred Nobel designed this prize to award the most innovative peaceful achievement. He felt guilty for discovering dynamite which resulted in the death of a lot of people.
A socialist lie? If you think human induced climate change is a socialist lie, you need an education. There is definitive scientific data to support this theory. Gore is no actor, but his message is real. Avoiding an ice age due to human activity is a good thing.

I'm not sure he deserved the Nobel prize, but in essence what he says is right. By the way, what does socialism have to do with global warming? Are you on crack?

Global warming is not a lie. Foolishly believing that it is will allow the destruction to continue until we bring about terrible consequences. Wake up!

Unfknbelvble.

I dont think anyone with a brain denies GW. I just cant believe that so many people swallow Gores assertions about it being man made.
Why wont Gore debate this with people that question his statements if he is so right?

I just don't understand why people are denying global warming?! Its like they are taking it as a personal offense. And they are denying what we are ALL doing to the earth. The clock is ticking . . . its just getting worse, people.
Way to go, Al!!!!
