Remove the battery and then plug it in. It will work on the power, but becomes like a desktop system...if it gets unplugged, it will turn off because there is no battery.

Plug the power cable.
Some Laptop's power option wont work if battery is not connected. If thats the case, connect your battery as well as the power cord together and I can assure you that it works

Yup, plug it in.... My battery is faulty, but since its plugged in to the ac outlet...it works!!! LOL.....You can sit there & stare at a blank screen without the power cord and pretend you are online. Plug it in.

Plug to your wall outlet. Before plugging check the voltage rating of the laptop if compatible to your wall outlet.
