Type 192.168.1.1 in the IE address bar. Leave the username blank and enter admin for the password.
You may change configuration settings and the password from the tabs provided.
I recommend disabling the SSID brodcast and enabling MAC address filtering and WEP or WPA.

For linksys routers, you can usually just go to http://192.168.1.1 and put in the default password (listed in your manual). Then, you can change the password in the config pages.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. type in "192.168.0.1" without quotes.
3. Hit enter.

192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1 might have to be tried depending on the model number if the standard 192.168.0.1 doesn't work.
