Stan Lee was the writer for most of the early 60's Marvel comics with either Steve Dittco (not sure on spelling) or Jack Kirby providing the art. By the way many of the Characters were either baised on golden age characters of DC characters.

Mostly Jack Kirby, Lee really didn't have as much input as he's always claimed.

After Kirby left Marvel Comics he created some classic characters for DC - what has Lee ever done since then?
