Dallas will be something of a betting enigma this weekend, a 5-0 team laying more than a field goal at home. But that's what happens when the Patriots come to town. After opening as five-point home underdogs, many are looking at the 'Boys as a tasty bet, especially since they've outscored opponents 80-42 in Dallas this year.

Impressive numbers to be sure. Tantalizing, even. But don't let 'em fool you into thinking Dallas is a good wager.

Why? Well, if you live by the Romo, you die by him too. While he's been lauded for his gunslinging ways, Romo is still rather careless with the football and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired. He's turned the ball over in all but one of Dallas' games this year and is tied for the second-most interceptions in the league with eight.

That's risky business against a Pats team that thrives on takeaways. In its 34-17 closer-than-it-looks victory over Cleveland, New England's defense had three interceptions and a fumble recovery - those takeaways created 21 points. The Pats are tied with Indianapolis for the league lead in turnover differential at plus-seven. The Patriots' defense has forced 11 turnovers (eight interceptions and three fumbles), and the offense has turned it over only four times (two interceptions, two fumbles).

Romo can ill afford to turn the ball over against New England, but his style leads me to believe he won't be able to avoid it. The Pats win games because they win the turnover battles, and this week should be no different.

The cowboys defense will be exposed for the joke that it is. Yes they are 8th overall in the league, against the worst offenses in the league.

Tony Romo will have some trouble with the Patriots defensive schemes. He wont throw another 5 interceptions but will still thow a couple, and one turnover against the patriots can be pretty difficult to come back from, 2 or 3 is doom.
The Patriots will win this game pretty easily, 34-17 or so.

He wont be throwing more then 3 interceptions thats for sure. All these cowboy haters think they can brand him a rex grossman just because of one sloppy first half when by that logic you could brand him a peyton manning by his performance in the second half. Most of the Ints in the begging of last week's game were because he was backed up and had little room to work with not because he sucks at QB. What yard lines were the 2 Interception TD's thrown on??? The Dallas 1 on 3rd down and the Dallas 6.

I see it coming down to the wire with a field goal seperating them in the end. Ill refrain from picking a team in this one because on paper New England will win but last year when the cowboys played the colts the colts were favored alot like the New england patriots are this year but Dallas managed to win that game (with Tony Romo) the colts also beat the patriots twice that year.

If they play as lamely as they did against the Bills, they will lose BIG. Right now, they are the best of a weak NFC. The teams in the upper half of the AFC could most likely beat them. This isn't dis-liking the Cowboys, just honest analysis. I'm just thankful T.O.'s been keeping his mouth shut, & playing this year. He's doing well by letting his "play on the field" doing the talking. It always sounds better when someone else "toots the horn". Big "talk" does'nt make anyone good, just BORING.

As long as they have fed the horses and made sure they are in good shape they should be okay. Although the Indians could give them a problem it all depends, I just hope Clint Eastwood fancies playing cowboys and indians again!

I think it will be a ding-dong battle, with the Patriots doing just enough to win. Their brainiac coach will figure out how to confuse Tony Romo.

I want them to totally expose the Overratriots as a team coasting on a creampuff schedule and not the world beaters that NESPN has crowned them.
