personally, i prefer to go for trend micro PCcillin. It does every thing that nortan does but uses up less resourses. It's also very effective at blocking any dangerouse ppl and viruses entering your netowk or computer. U can also scan other computers in your network if they hav a version of the software installed incase the virus prevents the computer from updating it's virus definitions.

several have been mentioned here so the only one I would add would be pc-cillin, which was rated the best in several pc magazines and sites. Here is a link to a free computer scan for viruses with a link to the trial period of that, and you can also consider Zone Alarm, which is free to individuals

The best anti virus software I have found is AVG free, touch wood it has worked perfect for me so far and have been using it for years.

I tried "Norton 360" 30 days Trial it really works on my System but unluckly there was no available here in the Philippines Instead I buy "Norton Anti Virus 2007 edition"
And my system runs smoothly!!!
Others says that Norton sucks dont believe on it ok....
