What is the phenomena called when a person feels like she or he is leaving the body for a short or long moment? I'm not talking about near-death experience, or levitation but the feeling of mind/soul being separated from the physical body. Tell me all you know about it.

It is called 'Astral travelling' or astral projection.
The soul is attached to the body via a thin silver cord at all times during astral travel.
