CNG kit and what is Lambda?

Question

I have few questions want to know about:-
1) I have santro Xing Model XL (Dec.2006) already run 8000 Kms.
2) I want to install CNG Kit in the car.
3) The supplier has suggested me to put Lambda.
4) What is the Lambda and how is it work, somebody has told me that Lambda does not work in Santro and there are two types of Lambda 1 is manual and 2nd is software.
5) I want to know about cost of Lambda.

Finally all over performance of vehicle after install of CNG Kit pls tell me.

Greek Letter L. Used in automotive as Oxygen sensor. By incorporating a closed loop system your CNG system will monitor exhaust emissions and control fuel mixture better. Get the system that adjusts automatically. And performance with CNG will be less because it burns less hot. Supercharging and CNG is the way to go because 135 octane rating of Gass really allows lots of boost. Then you can have performance gains. Most CNG applications are for engine durability and how clean everything stays. Low emissions too.

Why use CNG on such a small car? It will take a lot of km to justify the cost and the tank will take up a lot of cargo space. Depending on what other modifications you make, the car will be way down on power.

Lamba is the air fuel ratio. The supplier is suggesting you put in an oxygen sensor in the exhaust to detect how rich the engine is running and adjust the mixture accordingly.
