If we followed Carter's direction e would not be dependent on foreign oil by now and we would not need to go to war with Iraq over oil!
And even Murdock agrees with Gore!

Fifth questions in ten minutes on how awful Gore, Carter and the Nobel Prize is.
Must really be frosting the right.
The Supreme court, a group I used to hold in esteem gave the election to Bush, and we got stuck with the March Hare.
A man who will lead the pack as THE worst president in history. A man who won a second election by calling his opponents names and challenging their patriotism. Even though they were a decorated war hero, and he was...well wherever he was.
So now the noisy know nothings proclaim an entire respected prize unworthy, want to take your ball and go home now?
If anyone could have selected Bush without choking, you know you guys would have been yelling "See, see, I told ya so...even the Nobels gave him a prize."
Some very sour grapes here today, should make for amusing reading.
Percentages..
People who are so embarrassed that Gore won while our president is a fried egg...70%
People who are slapping their heads in frustration... well, after you get past Rove and a few others, maybe 20%
The other ten percent havent heard yet

Yes. You're entirely right. They should have awarded it to George W Bush and Dick Cheney instead. Maybe they could have posthumously awarded it to Adolf Hitler and Mussolini.
I have two questions for you:
1. How many wars did Carter start whilst he was president?
2. Is the USA better off under Bush than if Gore had been voted into office? (and we all know that he really was, don't we?)

Whatever Carter's shortcomings, they will be well and truly forgotten once Bush is out of power and his disastrous tenure begins to be examined in earnest.
Since George W. Bush himself was once nominated for a Nobel prize, it would seem that anyone can win one - maybe Bob Mugabe will be up for one next. Or even Ann Coulter. Maybe they will start giving them away with every 100 litres of petrol you buy at the gas station.

70%.
It's the 30% who think that Bush is the son of Jesus that don't respect the prize.

Whatever percentage opposes the shrub's warmongering!!! It seems that percentage is fairly high compared to those that support the torturer/murderer occupying the white house.
