The link suggested by John H is useful, and very amusing, although [naturally] I would argue with some of the items listed.

However it's not a guide TO (not 'in') Australian pronunciation, and you probably won't find a reliable one anywhere.

Why would you want to sound like an Aussie? We will understand you perfectly well as long as you don't talk too fast - that's the biggest mistake people make in my experience: talking too fast.

The other thing that makes people hard to understand is if they leave off the final consonants of words, which people from East Asian countries often do. The final consonants are VERY important in Australian English: the 'F' word lacks punch without that final 'k'....

I teach English as a second language so I know what I'm talking about.

You will pick up Australian pronunciation over time if you talk to Australians, you will sound very strange if you try to do it all in one go. In any case, there is range of accents in Australia. For instance, people from Adelaide speak very differently from people from Brisbane, there is no one pronunciation.
