I am currently completing my final year of a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood Studies and will like to complete a postgraduate degree in Primary teaching (3-7 year olds) before i leave England. I would like to know if it is worth while me applying and completing a postgraduate degree in England as I am not 100% certain what qualifications you need in Canada and whether my postgraduate degree will be a recognised qualification there. If i do complete my postgraduate degree in England will i have to undertake any exams or degrees' in Canada in order to qualify?

Many thanks

You will find that education in Canada is not a national issue but is dealt with on a province basis. British qualifications should be enough, without a masters degree. Good idea is to check out by looking online at www.canada.gov. If you want to study di o it in UK as Canada's fees are astronomical.

Last I checked Canada was still part of the British Commonwealth and Queen Elizabeth II as Head of State. I don't think you should have any trouble. I recommend you send a small letter to the nearest Canadian Counsulars Office, or even to the Candaian Dept. of Edu. and find out.
