I'm having trouble with my Windows Explorer. For the last few days, every time I open my browser it just sits there blank and does nothing for about 10 minutes. After that, it loads up and everything seems to work OK. I downloaded Explorer 7 but it still does the same thing. I've scanned for viruses and none found. I've ran updates for Windows, I've shut off Norton, but nothing seems to help. Please Help!

I hope its not your internet connection because thats the only time my IE 7 just sits there with a blank screen. IE 7 does have a few bugs, for example when i want to check my email provided by my cabel company IE wont open it up because of an expired security certifacte so i swich over to Firfox and no problem.
I would sugest going to http://www.pcpitstop.com/ and run a full test there. Pc Pit stop is free for everyone to use.

You mean "Internet Explorer", right?
I am also a big Firefox fan but, simply switching to another browser is not "fixing" the problem that exists with your Internet Explorer.

Try going to your Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and uninstalling your IE7 (your computer will automatically revert back to the version you used previously (IE6), and see if that "repaired" the problem.

Make sure you have all the latest Windows Updates (new Updates just came out this past Tuesday).

Also, you could go to...
http://pcpitstop.com
for a FREE diagnoisis of your computer which would point out any problems (and suggested fixes) that might be the cause of your problem. I've been going there for years and they have kept my computer trouble-free all that time...
plus, they have an excellent Forum where you can go and post a thread about your problem and get great help and advice from those who know.

nicely i don't comprehend approximately fixing it, yet on each and every occasion it occurs, you may bypass Alt+Ctrl+Delete, then bypass Run, then variety in 'Explorer'. which will initiate it lower back. the undertaking might desire to be just about something... Re-installation residing house windows might restoration the undertaking, yet that does no longer help in case you have basically have been given like 2 days.

There is a bug recently discovered in windows explorer. But there are many reasons why it wouldn't start up. I would suggest use a different browser such as Firefox or Optera.
