we arn't objective about ourselves usually, if someone has low self esteem they may be too critical of themselves and put the praise onto others, if someone is over confidant they may take all or atleast most of the credit, self praise is no praise at all

Sometimes, self praise on a high degree but on a fake tone can make people laugh a lot and think you're cool, but if you sound real and meaning when you praise yourself, it sounds arrogant...
