Well since there is a large object, regardless of what it is, headed our way, and the world is about to be divided and conquered, and a select other number of things..what exacly will happen? another question....say everything is true, then what? People everywhere are so willing to state the problem at hand, and none offer any thing of any use to use when the time requires it. Well here is something for you humans. all you can do is prepare, and i dont mean gather suplies or whatever. I mean, prepare your minds, prepare them so that in the moment of "truth" your minds will no be crushed by the sheer intensity of the situations. Prepare to see love ones die, and horrid things happen. The very worst will come out to play in these times. desparation will push most over to insanity and they will comit attroicities. Now let me ask, what is going to happen? Never mind putting doubt into these words just to offer yourself comfort. something will happen....i just dont know exactly what it is.

1) the well known end date of the 13-baktun cycle of the Mayan Long Count, which is December 21st, 2012 A.D. and

Nope, purely plenty greater greater advantageous typhoons and a few earthquakes. purely pray it's going to no longer happen, with that Philippines would be economically paralyzed. Nothing that anyone can predict, nor is there any reason to expect calamities other than the fires and earthquakes that are a normal occurrence. The only interesting thing about 2012 is that the Mayan calendar rolls over, and that does NOT pass the "so what?" test.

Yes well said : what is anyone ever doing to prepare. Let's start now, make it common thinking, to offer solutions and help eachother out when possible. But mainly to help yourself and prepare.
Take it or leave it, I've met a few "helpers" in remote places, humans with psychic ability who help others get over their limitations, which are ALL located in the body in one way or another. Like fear of the other (people you don't know that you fear) are mostly in the forearms, cause when you shake someone's hand that's where that energy goes, or if you let others get to you , you need to release the back, it's about " standing up for yourself".
I had a full week of treatment and learned stuff I'm still absorbing, 4 yrs later....
It's totally unofficial, through these people I learned the litteral message that is implied in "the matrix" (yes that is implied, of course I don't think robots control us, but there is a message that is very real. the system, allows you to eat, enjoy a couch tv computer and roof over your head, a social identity, a sense of security...but in return? you're not free. I'm all for cooperation in society but there's a growing freedom problem, and what seems like a second agenda.)
We must let go of fear and live FULLY. We are connected to all that is, there is no dead line in the universe, we are here to enjoy. We are free to be ourselves in the way we want, here and now

According to their calendar, the Maya believed that their world would end on Dec 21, 2012. That's because they made a calendar (3600 years ago) and stopped on that date. It could be that they didn't see any reason to expand it because it was way in the future for them. Some people say that the calendar will start over. The general consensus is that some cataclysm will occur. It is believed that the calendar was based on pole shifts causing a magnetic field shift. Supposedly, such an event would cause many changes and cause us to be evolved into another dimension. Blah, Blah, Blah.

The end of the mayan calender(and the end of the world or so we're told) is 21 December so we all save money by not having to buy christmas gifts.

The Mayan calendar ends on Dec. 21, 2012, is that what you're all worked up about? I suppose it could mean the end of the world, but I won't worry about it until Dec 20.
