So you stole a Dell Latitude and don't know the password to it?

Sure looks like it to be me, after all, if you bought it legitimately you could just ask the previous owner for the password or show Dell proof of ownership and have them reset it for a fee.

Depends on if you are trying to log-in to the bios or log-in to the OS.
If its the bios, then you'll have to contact the previous owner or Dell for the password/reset instructions. If its the OS then its a little easier. Of course it would be best to get the password from the previous owner then once logged in, change it, or delete it. But if its XP, then just press f8 to boot into safe mode with networking.....the defaulted Administrator log-in should show up and should be password free, then log-in to that and go to the control panel, select user accounts.....find the other admin log-in, and select to delete the password.....reboot and there ya go.

You'll have to get that from the person who sold it to you. There isn't a Dell default system password.
