How come so many celebrities talk so openly about doing drugs and all kinds of illegal things and never get arrested? For instance, Keith Richards has written a book in which he's talking about snorting coke all his life, pointing guns at at band members etc. Can't this be considered a confession. Last time I checked weed, crack and coke were all illegal substances... what gives?

I totally agree, that's something I've never understood cause it really is a confession, so what other proof do the authorities need b4 they take action. Arrest the lot of them, that would be a strong message to the kids who look up to these idiots!!

wise guy I just cant understand why celebs get away with it. Kate Moss cant be a good mum if shes drunk, stoned & bonking a new man every week, who the hells lookig after her kid? Look at Paula Yates if you remember her, drunk, high & dead with a toddler running around on her own in the house. If she & the others were not celebs social services would be straight in & take the kids away. Pete Dogherty! what a smelly looking loser, but he keeps getting away scott free from his court hearing etc. I cant understand it, the only answer must be back handers of large amounts of cash to the judges. Maybe from the press. Cos they cant afford to lose their big earners like Paris, britney etc. It really is out of hand. String them up!

Good question, easy answer: You are not a celebrity!!!

And I think the worst of it all is the fact, that after their books get published, they continue using drugs and still nothing happens to them. You even get people who tell us, the common person on the street, you've gotta admire them, because they want to get their act straight and they checked in to rehab (AGAIN, 12th time within 6 months, or something like that.)

It's all about the money, honey! Evidently, our courts have double standards.
