I'm using the stock fan of an E6600 on my mildly overclocked E2140 (OEM). It is not noisy but not whisper quiet too. If you really want silent cooling of your processor consider cooling solutions from Thermalright, Scythe, Zalman, SilenX, Arctic Cooling, etc.
My Scythe Ninja on the moderately overclocked E6600 is whisper quiet.
