We need rain to water the plants of Earth. It's not a bad or sad thing when it rains; it brings forth life. What if we were perfect little people who never sinned or gave God a reason to "cry"? According to this theory, the rain would stop. All the plants would die, and eventually we would die.... Does this mean that we need to sin to make God cry and water the Earth? No, I don't believe the rain is God's tears. Not literally, because I took science class, and not metaphorically, because rain is a good thing, and we need it. Maybe it's metaphorically God's garden hose, or something.

Rain happens when all the molecules that compose air do not have enough energy to hold those that form water. Still need to learn physic that cause thunder and lightening. It's much more interesting than some fairy tales.

No. I was raised being told that too. In simple terms: Rain is simply the expellation (letting loose) of humidity (water) in the clouds. Thunder is from those filled clouds hitting each other, and the electricity from that hitting is the lightning... OR something like that... lol

NOPE. Lightening is the angels opening the door and putting on lights. Thunder, they move the furniture around. Rain is when they mop the floors.

it is just a feeling which comes in human being's mind.
we feel good when it rains, and thunder storm definetly makes us unhappy. as far as linking these things to god is because of one idea that i feel,:- earlier there were only less people who were educated, to keep the mass united a smart person in the the community related all these activities to god.
so everybody follows the rules to maintain the environment and nature.

Yeah and clouds are him feeling depressed, and sunshine is a good mood.
Theres some countries where god must be crying a lot and some countries where he's well happy. Nothing to do with geography of course

no that is not true
both these incidents are natural events and in simple science u can understand what is happening
when u say
rain are the tears of God and thunder happens when hes angry
it is the cultural, social, and aesthetic aspect of the natural incident
that is how the literature has been formed by the man
take care

Rain comes from Jupiter Pluvius sitting on his cloud with a large watering can. Thunder is the giants playing skittles in the mountains.
(I've got a more accurate explanation, but it's boring)

When I was little the rain was God watering his plants and the thunder was him filling his coal bunker.
Now I know....
