Oh yes we did. We even used a piece of chain at night. We were once so deep in trouble because we tied a empty purse on a piece of string and was hiding in the yard. We killed ourselves laughing when people tried to pickup the purse. Needless to say that you can have fun for so long. The mayors wife with her Mercedes was driving in the same street and stopped. We pulled the purse away when she tried to pick it up. Guess what, we cracked our selves laughing and she gave us a real mouth full and threatened us with the police. You are bringing back good memories.

Alf is just a sorrowful soul. I pity his spirit. Even if he can die today, it would not rest. It would walk around to find a way of sending distasteful message about South Africa. Shame.

Hi Cheri, you are really good at reminding us of the 'good old days' and it's fun! Although I didn't do this, my four brothers did many times and got into trouble for it because they always did it to the elderly kindergarten teacher that lived up our street. She got caught everytime, even though she knew that they were doing it. Shame, I couldn't do a thing like that.

Kopano, thanks for the humour. I had to smile just thinking about it.

Your Radio station 702 is reporting that "large areas" of South Africa are withour electricity because Eskom is cutting power. Is that the reason for lack of activity today? Zimbabwe has electricity but then again South Africa supply it and South Africans pay for it. Now how funny is that?

Kopano - I dont send out the distasteful messages about South Africa - I merely repeat them. The ANC and its supporters make South Africa distasteful but then again I guess that is a little bit beyond you.

Yip, my cousins and I did that a lot, but we used a rubber snake from the toy store!
