Humans are at the very top of the food chain. Period. If we can advance our kowledge about cancer and work to ward a cure for many diseases by first testing it on humans, then so be it. I think it is a very screwed up train of thought that would allow a bleeding heart liberal with a pet to say that they would watch their child die, just to save a mouse from not having to be shot with chemicals. Screw that; I will cattch the mice for you! Simple fact is, animals DO NOT have the same rights as humans, nor should they ever! I don't thinkt hat dog fights or cock fights should be legal or anything, but animal testing in hopes for a cure, or to make sure that we are not putting out products that could potentially harm someone, is necessary. Noone is asking these these "Petians" to relinquish their pets for testing for chrissakes! We have got to keep this in realistic views here. And if someone tries to make a correlation between concentration camps and animal laboratories one more time, so help me.......(I heard someone do that; I was truly disgusted!)

Due to habitats being over-run by human development and pollution more and more species are becoming extint or being added to the endangered species list...I don't think that that and torturing animals was in Gods big picture. Animals here to eat, yes, to abuse and take advantage of,no....Animals have enough going against them to where they have the need to fight and struggle for their survival now more than ever before..and as we are not the only beings on this earth and certainly not the only beings necessary to maintain the balance we should be more aware and responsible with the power we have. I say use criminals for testing as they should lose their rights once they commit a crime.....

The law of human is stupid...I mean really, when you are on animal testing, it is "unethical and inhumane". And the when it is on human testing because of the animal rights, it is, then again, "unethical and inhumane". There is nothing we can do to solve it... Just like war. You cannot win the war with "one arm tied on your back".

we should use animals for testing for the welfare of humans. no matter how bad humans are. God has created animals so we can use them for our own good, like food and entertainment and medicine.
