Work from Home (u.k.)...? Updated question?

Question

I live in U.K. and i am looking for work that I can do from my own home, i have internet access. I was thinking something like data clerk but I am open to any suggestions. My panic attacks are known by my G.P. I am on medication but still prefer to work in my home. I also have a young child who is at home with me. Please help. Thanx.

We've scoured the internet to find work at home opportunities that are legitimate and creative at the same time. You might have heard of offers to stuff envelopes and earn a thousand dollars a week but at the risk of sounding clichéd; if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. "Watch TV and earn twenty dollars an hour" seems like a really good work at home idea, but if such jobs really existed, why would the majority of the population endure long commutes, office politics, and mean bosses. Hey hun, Glad your a bit better! I never went to ante natal classes when i was pregnant with Emma but i know a few friends who went and i think they just talk you over the birth, pain releif options, breastfeeding etc. Depending on where about you might get a tour of the hospital as well. Bottles of formula (if your using it), Nappy's, Cotton Wool and Clothes will be provided at the hospital. I would take your own though hun as you can end up waiting ages on some stuff. Also the clothes you have for the wee man will be so much nicer than the hospital ones ;) Glad all went well at the midwife, have fun at your classses xx

Hi I am a mother of two beautiful children, and like you I was looking for a way to stay at home with my kids and earn an income at the same time. I was searching all over the internet for a legitimate work at home job. And of course i was scammed and lost some money but I didn’t give up and kept on looking for what to do online till i found a survey site and started taking surveys. but it wasn’t enough to be signed up to one or two sites so I was looking for more sites that pay cash and not survey sites that enter you in a sweepstakes or try to sell you something or only pay you to fill out some offers. I found a few sites that had big lists of survey sites but most of their links were outdated or duplicate or they were just sweepstakes or a site that wanted to sell me things and called it a survey. Millions of people the world over have Internet access and are able to work from home.

Thus the BEST you can expect is minimum wage .. the worst is 3rd world wages (or even worse, and MOST likely here = get ripped off by con-merchants and scam artists who ask for money up front & never deliver any work).

In UK there are specialist organisations that can assist people with various disabilities ... research yours & find a local 'help group' & ask them for advise
