Well, it all starts when you get up... Or at night whichever you prefer or is easiest.. In the morning I wipe the bathroom surfaces down with an antibacterial wipes.... (Counters, toilet, sink etc...) Once a week or more if needed I scour the toilet/tub with 50/50 bleach water and wipe down.. I also mop the floors and wash the rugs/towels.

I vacuum everyday- I have children/pets, I also dust at least once a week and polish the furniture every couple weeks.

In the morning in the kitchen I unload the dishwasher and load it with the days dishes, I wipe the counters/appliances with the anitbacterial wipe(s) and sweep floors after each meal.. I clean the fridge out at the end of the week before garbage day. I mop the floor every night before bed and run the full load of dishes on time delay (4am).

I will wash a load of clothes before bed and put them in the dryer the next morning/fold/put away... I wash bed linens once a week. I clean/mop the playroom about once every couple of weeks or more if company or if needed. It's downstairs and out of the way...

I have 2 toddlers/dog/husband.. We have a 3 bdrm. ranch... Good luck

www.flylady.net can get you into a system, and it's free. She'll send you daily reminders and help you make a control journal to keep you on track....I'd love it if you gave it a try, won't cost you anything. Rose
