Hello,
I was at an Agency today between 4:30pm and 5:00pm and wrote a check to the agency. I didnt actually give them the check till around 6pm. I know for sure the banks close where I live at 5pm or 6pm(depends on which bank.) My question is, do big businesses have a way of depositing/cashing checks before the banks open in the morning? Meaning do they wait to do that kind of thing like everyone else, or do they have a special way of depositing/cashing checks even though the banks are not open yet? I called my bank and had the check stopped. I hope this makes sense and someone can give me some feed back. Thank You!

They can 'deposit' Cheques in the night safe.

The night safe contents will be processed by staff the following morning before the retail counters are opened.

The best bank would be the one who is going to give you more interest every year. Check each banks interest rates from the list you mentioned and find the one that offers the highest rate to their bankers. That's the bank to do business with. Low fees is also great too.
