When I look at Concert Promoters they have Sponsored by --- which I think pays them but with celebrity endorsements, do they just pay them more??? Thanks!

An endorsement doesn't imply that any money was donated.

It means that the celebrity approves of the effort and thinks that it is a good cause, so they are willing to bring more attention to the endeavor by associating their name with it.

An sponsorship, as you stated, means that the part or all of the funding for the project was supplied by the business or entitiy named, who also gets publicity out of the association.

sponsored by and endorsed by involved good money for doing such,i think the diffrence between sponsored by is the sponsor choose who will endorse thier product by just using the item and showing it in public and will shoulder the expenses of the chosen celebrity or athlete during competion or concerts.
while in endorsed by a celebrity sells the item publicly by appearing in ads and they pay the celebrity just to sell the item they sell.

endorsers are usually paid by the promotee.Sponsors do the paying.
