At last we seem to have a decent spin bowler in the England side - Graeme Swann. This lad looks like he is going to get loads of wickets and runs. He took a blinder of a catch the other day too.

Panesar is a liability in the field, he can't bat and he's only an average bowler. He isn't good enough to play international cricket.

Swann has got to be the way forward.

He is indeed, and will replace the injured Graeme Swann for the last one-day international.

Panesar is a fine bowler, especially in test matches where his genuine spin and variation can be given time to build up pressure. In one-dayers his lack of mobility in the field and weak batting often cost him his place.

I would like to see both play in the tests, as they both give different options - the choice then becomes whether to play five bowlers with Swann at number 7 and a long and rather undistinguished tail below him, or four bowlers with fill-in "dobbers" from the likes of Collingwood and Bell. Of course, there's also the option of Ravi Bopara if he returns from injury, just to complicate matters...

He is, but Swannie's doing a great job along with the pace bowlers, so he's got to sit out.
