I read about the articles that the simple ways to get away from the baldness problem is just avoid alcohol, nicotine and caffein.
is that true or only a myth? Thanks in advance.

Some forms of baldness can be caused by stress and/or malnutrition and can be easily reversed by a change of diet or lifestyle. But it's usually hereditary, so your only solution there is to either use topical treatments (like Rogaine, which you need to KEEP using forever and certain unpleasant side-effects can occur), pills like Propecia (again, you have to take them constantly), or just trim it short or shave it off and don't worry about it. Whatever you choose to do, don't bother with those ridiculous combovers or hair plugs - even the good ones won't fool your girlfriend and I'll bet she would much rather have a confident bald man than a vain sap with a full head of pseudo-hair.

Male pattern baldness is a hereditary condition. There is a medicine called Propecia that is very effective for this problem.

I don't think it helps, but the no. 1 determinate for baldness is genes. If the men on your mums side went bald, you're probably stuck with it!

You get your baldness gene from your mother - look at your mother's fathers hairline to see your fate....

So far this has proved true for all the males in our family - look at the maternal g-father & there it is.

It does indicate high testosterone. High T = baldness....but Propecia = low libido. That info is from our doctor.

NO, if its gentic, it'll just happen! The only way I found to combat it, was by growing some facial hair, the more bald, the more hair!! It destracts from the shine!!

There's no escape. If you are going bald its best to accept it with good grace. Some say it indicates you have high testosterone levels.

If it is due to hereditary, no one can help. Otherwise, homoeopathy has got good remedy. It is mainly due to lack of nutritions.
