If she likes bath & body stuff, I suggest Bath & Body Works Temptations Lotion or 3-in-1. [Simply Divine Cherry Pie, Frozen Daiquiri, Cinnamon Bun Heaven, Vanilla Ice Cream, Melon Cooler, Spicy Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pie Paradise, Pecan Passion, Whipped Delight, Frosting Forever, Banana Smoothie, & Sugar & Spice]
There are great reviews on the website and several friends have recommended them, especially the Frozen Daiquiri which is a strawberry scent!

Its my mums b'day on the 19th & she'll be 38! I went to the local supermarket last night and made a silly survival kit, it contained all things on offer and cheap things like :-
Bubble Bath,
Bath bomb,
Shower gel,
Soaps,
Tissues,
Cheap Magazines,
Trial size chocs (always dieting)
Paracetemol
One glass' bottle of wine
ETC
I hope you add a personal touch! I also put up a few balloons and banners in the lounge when shes at work the night before

Hi Sweetheart ...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you mum..
If you mum has her own home, being Mums(Flowers) are in season right now..Why don't you go to the garden center and buy her several mum plants, to plant in her garden..They come in so many beautiful bright Autumn colors, and come back..year after year..and each year they come back more fuller and more beautiful..
That way every year, she'll remember you. when she sees her beautiful mums blossom!
If she lives in an apartment, you could buy her a beautiful floor plant, that she can have for years and years..
Take care Hon..and have a wonderful day tomorrow!.

Chocolate!!!
If you are on a tight budget just get one candy bar (BUT get really good chocolate). If you can go bigger go to the mall and get a big box of good stuff like Godiva.
Add a handmade card and mom will smile. (and I'm betting she'll share the chocolate with you too!)

well, aside from flowers.
try something from the heart. it doesnt need to be made. but, just think of whats special to her. treat her to a movie or take her to her favorite resturaunt. do you have a favorite picture of you and her? maybe you could put it in a darling frame? or how bout a trip to the spa? even though that may be a bit costly...
good luck & i hope your mom has a splendid birthday!

SPA GIFT CERTIFICATE!!!
she can get a massage, manicure, pedicure, facial, etc..
she will enjoy it more than anything! im sure she gets enough useless crap on other holidays =) .....all women WANT this for themselves, just are never "selfish" enough to buy it... ESPECIALLY mothers, who always put everyone before themselves....
good luck finding the right gift for her!
