It amazes me how some Egyptians discovered that Egypt is so quiet and peaceful that they decided to add music to their cars when car brakes are used. u know what I'm talking about? Do u hear it? Does it annoy u? Seriously I just cannot understand why they came up with such a great invention! Isn't it just fascinating! How long has it existed for anyway?! So it's not like the noise of cars in the streets, all the car peeping, noise of people in the crowded Egyptians streets will fullfil the job of giving us headaches, now we need musical car brakes. I don't like the music it plays anyway. Sorry but too much noise just gets on my nerves

Like zoser said, it's just another form of pollution, but I haven't ever been able to adapt to it and to deal with it! Noise really gets on my nerves. No wonder they use it as a form of torture! lol As Kalooka said, some people need serious therapy ... and also need to get a life obviously! Whenever I hear those unbearable noises I remember Bairam El-Tunisy's lines ...
يا أهل المغنى دماغنا وجعنا دقيقة سكوت لله
Only I say
يا أهل الدوشة كفاية روشة دقيقة سكوت لله

When the brakes start to make noise the brake shoes or pads are worn out. Stay away from these musical cars.Go into the brake business and you could make a ton. Open a Midas and that would be great

Ya Ruby, we have a pollution problem in Egypt , pollution is not only smoke, it is with also noise, water , manners, social behaviors, culture, education, professional work (medicine , engineering, teaching..etc)tastes , even beliefs ,,we became a polluted nation , we can not feel this pollution anymore , we are adapted ,, lol

But tell you something: when I drink tea in the states, I do not accept its taste, I thought it is the quality of the tea (we drink tea dust in Egypt) I had tea from Egypt, but that did not work, I brought sugar, did not work,, finally I found that I am used to the taste of the polluted water of Egypt which I missed ,,, you see we are adapted

Strange - over here in the UK, loud music from cars is usually connected to excessive acceleration.....

Hope it's a great day in Egypt!
