Most institutions present a biased point of view, depending on their affiliation.

I suppose those few of militant bias could be accused of "brainwashing."

I think it depends on the teacher and the school. Hopefully what students are learning in school are critical thinking skills that teach them how to properly evaluate many different ideas... this is basically the opposite of brainwashing.

NO! Schools doesnt brainwash people... its a place of learning, open to opinions and exchange of expressions. The reason for which we learn is because we listen then express. Most likely a school is a place of discipline to prepare us in the real world.

It really depends on the person, schools just gives us the output of what we should think. I also believe that schools brainwash people because it also influence the person's behavior, the way he thinks or acts. etc..

Yes. I think they may have to the extent that they influenced the student's lifestyle. Specially most in catholic schools. I'm expressing this both in positive and negative way.

The most famous brainwashing is the "Columbus Discovered America" silliness. Columbus didn't discover s---.

They make it sound like it was barely a country before his silly white a-- put his stinky non showering Euro feet on it

i believe that schools brainwash us into sexism, like in P.E. woman have to touch the ball, get more pionts ect.
