No, they are pretty much the same from my experience.

It depends on the individual all over the world and it also depends on one's interpretation of lifestyle quality. Usually, those with good income can afford to have good lifestyle. In every country, there are rich and poor. So..

Of course it depends on which European country you are talking about, and which region of the USA you are talking about. I've spent time in both places and found them quite similar.
