Ive just been wondering about this. Ok so Transvestites, gays, bi's, lesbians well they all say they are normal & see themselves equal to everybody else & theyre not ashamed & all that BUT if u notice the difference between straight ppl & LGBT's well the LGBT's are always usually defensive for example just about everyone if theyre in an argument will bring it up some how that theyre gay, bi, etc. & that there proud & not ashamed & that there normal its like theyre self concious of being that way. Well if they feel that way & are then why bring it up when NOBODYS even asking or talkin about it. They have gay pride days or weeks "gay pridedays" @ disney & are always very defensive. Straight ppl well we dont have straight days or staright pride weeks & dont bring up that theyre straight basically there not self concious of being straight so wat i mean is if LGBT's are SO not ashamed & proud then y tlk about it in every other word they speak!?? IM NOT RACIST & DONT WANNA STRT ANYTHING....

Just another thing I wanna say like at a store once a mannequin was took down it had a vary of colors on it & someone thought that the mannequin was a "gay" person(being literal) so there was a big gay rally about it. Well theres mannequins in stores being took down all the time that would pass for a "straight" person & i never see rallys sayin that ppl are against the "straights". This is also (& again NOT racist & dont wanna strt anything just wonderin about all this) Sort of the thing with blacks not all i like black ppl & have friends that are black & gay but netihng now that happens to someone thats black it seems that they AUTOMATICALLY say it happened b/c they were black!! white ppl dont say that. Just like with gay ppl if nething happens to them its b/c theyre gay is why it happened. Im just wondering WHY are they so selfconcious of themselves it seems if they claim 2 be so PROUD & SHAMELESS then why care or bring it up of watrace gender or sexual orientation u r if ur normal..

I am pretty sure that there are still more straight people than gays. Why do they try to shove their gayness on our face? Perhaps it's a matter of insecurity. May be they aren't so sure they are on the right side. I am not trying to put the gays down or saying that they are wrong. I think our country as well as most of the world spends too much time trying to be "politically correct". The majority of the population is scared to say anything against the minute amount of the population. There are millions of Christians here, and a handful of atheists. Yet the atheists get their way. They say it's their right. Well are we to give up the rights of millions if not billions to save the rights of a few thousand? how is that fair. Freedom should come with responsibilities. Your freedom ends where mine start. If you are in my boundary, you are invading my freedom. Are we to let a few thousand people invade the freedom of millions? I am not talking about the gay issue in general. I am talking about people being afraid to be politically incorrect. Never in my entire life have I harbored hatred towards any gays or people of other races or religious belief. Why then the atheists and other religious groups hate Christians like me and try to take our rights from us.
Why do we have BET - Black Entertainment Television and not WET - White Entertainment TV? Why do we have gay parades and not straight parades? Why do we let the atheists try to take away "One Nation under God" from our schools and our money? Because we are too busy trying to be politically correct and morally wrong. We are changing morality and ethics because of that. And why do they do these things, because they can.

You don't want straight anything because you already have it! For you, every day is straight day, and you are so arrogant about it that you don't even register that we are not ashamed of being who we are, we are ashamed of you and the way you act. You are the last gasp of homophobia. You know that you can no longer bash us without getting the sh*t beaten out of you, and you know that the police are now human and do not attack us any more. Only the pathetic hate preachers and people like you are stopping the world from being normal, and you both are becoming quite irrelevant. You say you don't want to start anything, and I think that is a healthy position for you to take.
By the way, I loved your other question in the 'beauty section' asking people for advice on how to put make-up on to make your skin look flawless like a woman's.

Your HUGE question is almost impossible to read. Have you ever heard of punctuation? and sentence construction?
I am a 60 yo male hetrosexual.
These people are normal and equal to anyone else who walks on this planet. They have the right to be defensive because of the bigotry against them by people like you.
This is also why the need to be brave enough to come out in public and declare their preferences.
You may not be be a racist, but I think you may be a fringe bigot. And YOU have the right to be a bigot, so what's the problem?

Edit: From the answers I see, the American way is very sad and isolated.
Maybe you havnt learned from your past.

I guess when people stand up for themselves we look this way to others...lets see ahhh, brings to mind when the ppl rise against a dictator or African Americans stand up for there rights.

Guess we look like the problem instead of who created the problem in the first place. We all deserve equal rights!

YA ok maybe we should have a Straight Day...they all could wave a beige flag!

i'm sorry individuals are so ignorant John. lack of expertise is accessible in all hues too. i'm white, blonde & blue, stay contained in the Pacific Northwest of usa. I had a pair Samoan co-workers and those ladies have been extremely aggressive, surprisingly approximately visual charm. Very gossipy, asserting rude issues each and all of the time. I exceeded them contained in the hall and 'overheard' them say approximately me "pass over L'Oreal thinks she's SO suitable together with her white *** and you realize that hair is fake" (it is organic). it is extremely not an exceedingly enormous deal, besides the indisputable fact that it exhibits the mentality, the racism. i'm unable to have faith it extremely is the 365 days 2012 and a few individuals are nevertheless caught in that caveman tribal mentality. Hate the others because of the fact they're distinctive than us. So stupid. shouldn't we've developed extra suitable than that via now?

Erm.. isn't every other day a 'straight day?' What about valentines day? typically for heterosexuals, as it was invented before other sorts of relationships were acknowledged/accepted. (though now for everyone)

The point of gay pride parades etc is to raise awareness and support, love and acceptance of minority groups.

Straight people hardly need more support, and they are not a minority group.

And whenever anyone has a conversation with someone, no matter what the topic is, they will relate the topic to themselves. If a girl is talking about shirts, she may say something about her size. if a guy is talking about shirts, he may say what shirts he likes on girls, if two people are talking about shirts, and one happens to be a lesbian, she might say, i like this shirt my girlf. wears. or a gay man might say, i like guys who don't wear shirts.

it's not like they are saying 'this is what i think and it's because i'm gay! HAVE YOU GOT A PROB WITH THAT?!?'

you need to get over it. my sister hardly ever brings up her sexuality. She'll talk about her girlf, but hey, i talk about my hubby. So, fairs fair. besides, I don't have a problem. You obviously do.

I'm straight but don't need to go on marches or flaunt it in every ones face about what my sexual preferences are. Seems like so many people yell racist to get attention, more free hand outs, money etc wish they would get a life and butt out of mine.

That is an excellent point!!! I agree with you. I don't want to know who you are sleeping with, and I don't think that you deserve a special day of the year to block the streets just because you are queer. We don't do that , and I see it as just one more way of them shoving it down our throats. I don't shove my sexual preference in their face, and I would appreciate it if they would respect me enough to do the same. But I feel that they are really ashamed and deep down inside they know that it is a sin, so they have to constantly tell themselves and others that it is OK and normal, and they hope that maybe someday they will believe it and so will someone else. I think it is a sin and they are making a choice just like we make choices. The bible says that they have a sick and depraved mind. I have to agree with God.

I used to have two tee shirts that I wore all the time:
1. "It's a WHITE" thing...You just wouldn't understand!"
2. "It's a "Biker" thing...If I have to explain...You wouldn't understand.

But the world gets outraged by these things and they shouldn't...
But they do.

Here have some magic dust.
Just sprinkle it around
and all the idiots will disappear.
Now isn't that much better.

Different does not mean "wrong" or "bad"...it simply means DIFFERENT.
Maybe these groups are simply celebrating their uniqueness?
However, I do not think they deserve any special privileges or treatment because they are different..can you imagine then there would be a "freckled people day" or a "curly haired people day" and so on...where would it end?!
