A week ago our dishwasher was leaking. This week we had it replaced, but now I notice little bugs around that area and I'm assuming they are gnats. Very tiny and are just hanging around on the floor by the dishwasher area. Need to go to the store tomorrow and look at sprays, but don't think it will be a long term solution since they do multiply fast from what i've read.
Does anyone know how to get rid of them for good?

Thanks for the advice. I guess the main thing i'm concerned about is they are breeding underneath the dishwasher which is very hard to pull out and spray behind/underneath it. Will just spraying on the surface and in the cracks do?

a product called Safer Soap, it is a potassium salt that does a great job and is very safe to us and the environment. It comes already mixed- just spray the area a few times

First try the bug spray and see what happens. You might have to give it a few tries. If nothing happens or if things get worse then call an exterminator. Also, make sure the area where you have the bugs is kept clean and dry.
