my husband is not a demonstrative type of a person, every time i demostrate my being sweet he finds it corny.?

typical of a guy. Only 15% of guys are expressive especially in Asia so your problem is shared by many. The only solution is to accept his ideas and share with him your likes and dislikes. He may say it is corny but if he is in trouble, you'll see he'll try his best to do what you want. Yes, almost everything you want. So the common strategy is to pick on his shortcomings just enough to merit a pampering and you will get what you want. Be carefull not to over do it as it may turn the other way. Just enough to make him feel that he has done wrong.

It sounds like you and your husband have different expectations about expressing love. A book I found interesting on this subject was "The Five Love Languages" by Chapman. Maybe you could read and discuss it together. Marriage counseling might also help.

I wouldn't let it bother you unless you feel he's being judgmental. I act more "corny" than my husband does and sometimes he just shakes his head and grins. We've been married 16 years and now I tell him to "just humor me!" and he does. He may not choose to act that way but he doesn't prevent me from expressing my feelings the way I need to at times.

I noticed women have a tendency to want their man to like what they do instead of paying attention and finding out what the man likes. Try to learn more about what he likes...not through some inquisition but through trial and error and then do it. Im betting if he is happy with his needs being met he will respond more to your sweet ways.

Let him know this bothers you. That you like showing his affection. And if he doesnt like it, then something s wrong. Just talk to him:)
