50-50 world cup is a bit too long. If ICC fail to make the 50-50 world cup shorter then i am sure that Twenty20 will destroy it.
In future Twenty20 world championship will emerge as the major cricket event & it will become the 'BIG FISH'. It has more flavor,spice & is viewers friendly.
Don't be surprised if Ireland wins the 2013 T20 world championship. I think the newer cricket playing nations will now focus a lot on T20 cricket because they can't play test cricket.
I can see the future of cricket right now & i am damn sure that T20 will rule cricket in this 21st century

The ODI will continue to retain its popularity till such time T20 cricket is regularly and frequently played by all countries. The next world cup which willb e held in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be a grant success.

Its developing good...
After the T20 introduced its going to catch more and more fans all around the world...
So more country will start to play cricket and more country will take part in the World Cup....
Until the cricket lives 50 50 will get more popular...
and also T20 will make an impact.....

Should base the format on 20-20 World Cup but the only difference is to have 16 teams rather than 12 so that 4 teams are in each group.
top 2 from each group make 2 group of 4 teams.
top 2 from each group play in semis
winners play in final.
You could play the tournament realistically in around 4 1/2 weeks, which would be perfect.
The winner would play in 8 games rather than 11.
If India win the Cup it will garauntee its future.

I my opionion if they introduce 30-30 that will be nice as in 20-20 world cup doesnt judge real batsman skills or also bolowers getting neglecting too much, so there should be some sort of inbetween type of cricket which keep the balance of cricket in less time. 30-30 world cup will judge team and players more precisly.

Twenty 20's gonna rock....
50-50's are soon going to be forgotten..
But that will take a good long 10 decade or so..
But twenty 20,fast, furious, exciting and entertaining is gonna rule.
