I believe all things in nature have spirit; by default this confers personality.
The coolest thing is how it's invisible. Magnetism is also an invisible force, but wind moves things whimsically, with an intuitively unpredictable method, in contrast to magnetism's rather rigidly determined path.

Sometimes. It's not it's personality, it is how you can interpret it. For example, when you're happy, the wind can sound light and bouncy. Another time, when you're unhappy, it can sound like it is grieving with you.

yes when it is calm it is at peace with the world, when it blows hard it is fertilizing the earth with its many seeds, if it come with thunder and lightening it is angry, if it comes with a rain it is sad, if it comes with the cold it is hard and callous.
