the mirror [ plane mirror ] needs to be h /2 units tall, at a minimum , with the top of the mirror aligned with the top of your head...

To barely see your feet, the angle of incidence = angle of reflection to your eye, and the triangles you get, places the bottom of the mirror at 1/2 of your height ....

to construct the ray diagram .... draw a ray from the tip of your feet to the mirror, and reflecting to your eye, with angle incidence = angle reflection ... and a ray from the top of your head to the top of the mirror and back to your eye ... then you will see that you get two = triangles, with the common leg being the line from your body to the bottom of the mirror, which is parallel to the floor ... this line hits your body at 1/2 of your height ....

If a person expects to view his whole body in the mirror, the minimum height has to be h/2.The condition to view the whole body in the mirror is that the height of the mirror has to be more than half of the object

Your standard door mirror to check yourself out is anywhere from 4 to 5 feet long & atleast 22inches wide. The mirror may come about 2 feet off the ground cause as you stand back you see it all. it does not have to go to the floor just to view your entire self.
