I'm just wondering if the two mentioned compounds are pertaining to the same substance. I hope someone could clarify this; back-up explanation will be much appreciated. Thanks!

The suffix bis is generally used for ligands coordinated to a metal ion, here the term bis which does stand for 2 may cover ether also.

However the di benzyl in the second name is unambiguous.
