I think they will because no team has challenged them. They haven't acted like they've tried, because they haven't had to. They go out in a workman like manner and dismantle the other team, without any effort. They're waiting for some competition, and I don't see Dallas providing it. The dolts could well lose before they face the pats. Regardless, the pats will dismantle them, abuse them, and humiate them in front of their home crowd. Of course I could be wrong, BUT I'M NOT.

In a nutshell, the Pats will go undefeated this season for 2 reasons, because the want to, and because they can.

Irishrun (is that really your screen name?), Tom Brady is different. He's not a young, great QB who everyone thinks might be great some day but no one knows because he hasn't been tested yet, and he's not an old QB who's past his prime but use to be good years ago. If Tom Brady quit today, he'd be in the hall of fame based on his accomplishments so far. But, Tom Brady is at the peak of his ablities, he has a good team, and he's having a break-put season. He had a terrible game Sunday, and he was clearly disgusted. But, that was as bad as it gets. I predict an undefeated season, superbowl win, and it will be so easy Tom will not be mvp, it will go to the offensive line.

Some good answers! I don't see who's going to stop them, other than the Giants, game 16. I think they do it. If I could bet on it, and get good odds, I'd place a bet.

I hate to bring up math in this discussion, but it actually plays a vital role here.

Statistics say that the Patriots will lose at least one game. Should they? No. But should the Bears have lost to Miami twice to end their bids at undefeated seasons? No. but they did...

I am not a Patriot fan at all, and actually hope they lose, but I just don't see it happening.. They have 2 games that should worry Patriot fans.. @Indy and home against the Steelers. That is it, what else is there to worry about? The Cowboys, yeah right.

But statistics say that they will probably win both of those games but lose to Buffalo, or something silly like that.

No dig against the Bills intended, but if they win, they certainly were not supposed to....yeah, yeah, they proved Monday night that they can't win, but that is not my point..

Maybe the winless Dolphins step up and knock off the Pats..They seem to be very good at stepping up and keeping sole possession of the only perfect season.

I would bet against the Pats going 16-0, even though they should...

I think the Pats are a very strong team, other than Cowboys or Colts I don't see any other teams on their schedule that can match them.

Of course no team is immune to the injury bug, if Brady goes down I can't see either backup QB carrying this team into the playoffs and beyond.

This weekend will show us exactly how good the Pats are and also whether the Cowboys are legit contender for the NFC crown. Personally I'd like to see the Pats roll over them like they did the previous 5 teams.

I can't say they will go undefeated this season, Remember they have a great game this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, who are also 5 / 0 and QB Tony Romo wow is also playing great ball. It's one of the best match up BRADY (comp.117/158 att ) Has the best pct.74.1, leads the NFL with 16 TD and has 1383 passing yards for the third best. But on the other side you Tony Romo :(comp.101 / 171 att - 59.1 pct. and is second in passing yards with 1508 just behind Brett Favre(GB) who leads with 1527 passing yards.and still has to play the Colts / GB / Giants.

I absolutely agree with you. I mean this Patriots team is so good to the point that its kind of unfair. They can just walk out there and they have the biggest arsenal on offense than any other team in the NFL and their defense is impenetrable. Now with Rodney Harrison off suspension I don't think any team even stands a chance against the sheer power of the New England Patriots.

There is no other team in the NFL that is more complete than the Patriots. The balance that we have on offense and defense is top of the line. When we beat the Cowboys and the Colts, expect us to go undefeated.

Hey after a bad game like Dallas had I wouldn't want to be the team to play them next.
The Patriots are only giving 5 points to Dallas.

I would have to say Dallas has been playing a better class of teams than the Patriots. The best teams you have played has two wins 1 win 0 wins yep you so bad...............

No. The patriots aren't as good as everyone thinks. they are very good, but not undefeated material. This is like everyone talking about how Tony Romo is amazing and then he goes and throws 5 ints and fumbles. One game I was watching the broadcasters actually compared BRETT FAVRE to tony romo, it was sick. if anything it should be the other way around. it is always about which bandwagon is bigger.

Plus they might have a harder time on D now that they can't cheat by stealing signals anymore.

Nope, Injuries play a key role in the season. Every team goes thru their turn. That's when they lose. Besides you've got Moss, give him time and he' ll be crying like old times
