I just got my clitorus pierced, approximately a month ago, and this morning with no warning whatsover, it was severely swollen. It happened over night and is itchy, and quite painful. Any thoughts on what may have caused this?

omgoshh it felt sooo good to itch it
and when i stopped it burned like crazy for hours lol badd idea
and also i dont care if you think piercing my clit is a bad idea or not
its a clitoral HOOD piercing, not right through the clitorus.. so its just as normal as a navel piercing..

Itchy is good. That means it's healing. I know it would feel great to scratch, but DON'T!! You'd regret it, I promise.
Get some hydrocortisone. It's sold over the counter anywhere, and it'll stop the itch. Have someone run up to a 24-hour drug store, supermarket, or 7-11!! :)

Are you mad ? I don't think it was a good idea to get your clitoris pierced. With any piercing, there is the danger of infection, including hepatitis B or C virus and tetanus.8 Body piercing as a possible vector for human immunodeficiency virus transmission has been suggested. Nonsterile piercing techniques and poor hygiene contribute significantly to the increased risk of infection. In these circumstances, itst best you consult your family physician and explain to him your problem.

It's infected. That's a good place to pick up a staph infection. Don't mess around - go see a doctor ASAP

Hi, I think that he is just trying to be a good brother, by telling you that you're pretty. It doesn't nessecarily mean that he is a flirt - if he is your brother, he is more than likely not flirting with you, but trying to make you feel confident. Or even complimenting you, but either way, he doesn't need to be a flirt.

Infection, go see the doctor, this is not something to play around with. These are serious things, the first thing that came to my mind was blood poisoning. Please have this checked out.
