There must be - I have no children! The best I can compare that to at this point is the sound of my mother laughing. She's 87 years old and in the nursing home for almost 5 years now due to strokes, but occasionally I'll get a good laugh out of her like before her strokes.

But I do enjoy hearing all children laughing.

i'm hoping this would possibly not sound too whiny and melodramatic. my writing has a bent to try this. "the delicate peels of laughter coming from the little ones have been friendly to my ears." i failed. lol.

I agree with the cat guy. I have a huge Maine Coon Cat and when she purrs and looks at me with unconditional love on her little face, that's the best sound in the world to me.

nope even now when my kids are older...it still causes my heart to well up with love and pride when i hear them laugh...they are happy and well taken care of. God's way of saying, "Good job, jen. Good job".
