It's not what people do that should concern you, its why they do it that means everything. Do you agree?

No. People can do things that are so bad that I do not care why they do them. Knowing why can explain behavior but it doesn't erase the harm that has already been caused.

No, it's both why and what that are important, but mostly what. I understand that people what a certian set of morals in society, but getting that through secular law is wrong - the why is ok buth the what/how is wrong.

Another way to look ot it is that actions have two components the internal and external. This way something may be partially good either internally or externally, but the results are weighed towards the effects on others.

I think it depends entirely on what they are doing. In modern society, for example, we could not accept someone who keeps mudering others no matter WHAT their intentions were.

If I was in an abusive situation where my life or my children's lives were endangered, I wouldn't care WHY I or my children were being beaten, I would only care about protecting myself and my children.

However, if someone meant to help me, but did it in a way that caused me harm then I could continue to have them in my life. However, if this happened frequently, I'd have to stand up for myself eventually
